Whether it be through Christ-centered summer camp programming for your children & teens, retreat facilities for various church-family retreats, or simply a place of solitude for seeking the Lord, Camp Selah has the Spirit-filled atmosphere perfect for fostering intimate fellowship and spiritual growth.

Statement of Faith

The Holy Scriptures. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, infallible in the original writings, the only written revelation of God to man, and the only divinely authorized standard of Christian faith and practice. (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:21)

The Trinity. We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; that these are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections. (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19)

The Person & Work of Christ. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, has provided atonement through His shed blood and substitutionary death; in Christ’s bodily resurrection and ascension and His present intercessory work; in the imminent return of Christ. (Gal 4:4-5; Rom 5:8; 1 Pet 2:24-25; 1 Cor 15; Heb 7:25; Phil 2:9-11; 1 Thes 4:16-17; 2 Cor 5:10; Matt 25:32-46)

The Person & Fall of Man. We believe in the fallen state of man and the necessity of his regeneration by the Holy Spirit and of the individual’s new birth through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Gen 3:6, 17-19; Rom 5:12, 19)

The Eternal State. We believe the repentant, having submitted to Christ and having been separated from the physical body shall live eternally with God. The unrepentant will live in a state of eternal separation from God. (Rev 21- 22)

Ordinances. We believe that the two ordinances of Scripture are water baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (Matt 28:19-20; Acts 2:38-39; Rom 6:3-4; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Cor 10:16-18, 11:23-29)

Gender and Marriage. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably created each person as male or female, and that these two, distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman, and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union. (Gen 1:26-28, 2:20-25; Matt 19:4-6; Eph 5; 1 Cor 7:2)

Sanctity of Human Life. We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Gen 9:6; Ex 20:13; Psalm 139:13-16; Jer 1:5; Prov 24:11-12; Mat 6:26, 10:29-33)
