What is an escape room?

An escape room is a 60-minute real-life adventure game. You and your team will assemble in a themed room and will have one hour to complete your mission and “escape” the room. A successful escape will require you to find hidden clues and solve challenging puzzles throughout the room.

How can I book?

Call (517) 283-2527 to reserve over the phone or book through this website by paying for a specific time slot with a credit or debit card.

Should I arrive early?

Yes! The game itself is around 60 minutes although you might escape earlier! You need to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to allow for instruction and a restroom pit stop. After you finish you will be given a game debrief and take a team photo. Allow 90 minutes for your end-to-end experience.

Where do I go when I get to camp?

The Common Sense Escape Room is held in the staff lounge which is located in the upstairs of the main building (south hall). It has ramp accessibility and has handicap accessible restrooms in adjoining rooms. You can park at the posts next to the basketball court and your game master, Tyler, will meet you inside the door by the ramp.

The Home Alone Escape Room's first stop is the camp office located next to the garage. Here you will meet your game master, Shelley. She will show you down to the Little House BNB at the bottom of the hill where your game begins.

There are three stairs at the entrance and a standard bathroom available. You may park down in the Little House during game play.

Can I bring anything with me into the room?

You cannot bring anything into the room with you that would assist you with your escape. Please leave your cell phone and other valuables in your vehicle.

Will I be with people I don't know?

The game master will be in the room with you and your group.

They will be there to assist you along the way.

Other than that it will just be your group.

Will the doors actually be locked?

No. Each of our escape rooms will have an unlocked door for emergency exit.

Are these rooms kid friendly?

They certainly are! We have had children as young as 6 years old do extremely well in our rooms, though they were created with teens and adults in mind.

If there are children under 14 years old, they must be accompanied by an adult.

What if something comes up and I need to cancel?

If you are not able to make it to your scheduled game, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to reschedule your group.

Room booking is NON-REFUNDABLE, but is transferrable for rescheduling

or can be given to other participants.

What if I have more than 6 people?

$50 is the cost per room for 2-6 people. 7-12 people must be split into two groups and book another hour time slot separately. Groups with more than 12 people should call for special rates and accommodations.

Anything else I need to know?

Participants must sign a release waiver. We will have one available for you when you arrive. Please feel free to review it ahead of time by hitting the link below.

We are also requesting that participants please wear masks at this time.
