What is an escape room?

An escape room is a 60-minute real-life adventure game. 

You and your team will assemble in a themed room and will have one hour to complete your mission and “escape” the room.

A successful escape will require you to find hidden clues and solve challenging puzzles throughout the room.

 

How many people can do the room at a time?

For maximum enjoyment Camp Selah recommends 4-6 people.

If your group is larger than that it's best to split up and turn the experience into a friendly competition.

You will need to reserve an hour block for each group even if your actual experience takes less time.

 

Waiting groups are welcome to hang out in our escape room waiting room complete with comfortable seating, games, & restrooms.

 

How much does it cost?

$20 per adult (18 & up) and $10 per child (17 & under).

How can I book?

 Please call (517) 283-2527 to book at least 48hrs in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

 

Should I arrive early?

Yes! The game itself is around 60 minutes although you might escape earlier!

You need to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to allow for instruction and a restroom pit stop.

After you finish you will be given a game debrief and take a team photo.

Allow 90 minutes for your end-to-end experience.

 

Where do I go when I get to camp?

Escapers can park near the basketball court.

 

Can I bring anything with me into the room?

You cannot bring anything into the room with you that would assist you with your escape.

Please leave your cell phone and other valuables in your vehicle.

 

Will I be with people I don't know?

The game master will be in the room with you and your group.

They will be there to assist you along the way.

Other than that it will just be your group.

 

Will the doors actually be locked?

No. Each of our escape rooms will have an unlocked door for emergency exit.

 

Are these rooms kid friendly?

They certainly are! We have had children as young as 6 years old do extremely well in our rooms.

If there are children under 13 years old, they must be accompanied by an adult.

 

What if something comes up and I need to cancel?

If you are not able to make it to your scheduled game, please let us know as soon as possible

and we will do our best to reschedule your group.
